Project Background:
In multi-track, multi-workstation workshop production, flatbed cart turning and docking has always been a key factor restricting transfer efficiency. A large machinery manufacturing company, due to the complex track layout of its workshop, needed to frequently turn and transfer workpieces between different tracks. After multiple rounds of technical communication and solution optimization, it ultimately chose to cooperate with BEFANBY to customize a 6-ton battery-powered electric rail turntable flatbed cart, perfectly solving its core pain points of cross-line turning and precise docking.
Project Introduction:
The client's workshop is a large machinery processing plant with multiple tracks arranged in an intersecting layout. It needs to transfer 6-ton workpieces daily. Traditional linear flatbed carts cannot achieve turning and docking between tracks, requiring manual assistance in lifting and rerouting, which is inefficient and carries high safety risks. Based on production conditions and the existing workshop layout, the client required that this rail mounted electric turntable flated cart be able to stably carry 6 tons of workpieces without structural deformation during long-term heavy-load operation; it should be equipped with a track turntable to allow for 90°/180° turning of the transfer cart and seamless connection between different tracks; ideally, it should achieve precise height alignment between workpieces and workstations/equipment. To this end, the BEFANBY team customized a hydraulic lifting device for them.
