The client is a large international steel manufacturing company. Its steelmaking workshop requires frequent transfers of 40-ton molten steel ladles. Traditional track-based transfer carts, limited by fixed routes, could not meet the complex cross-regional transfer needs of the workshop. Furthermore, molten steel transfer places stringent requirements on the safety, stability, and high-temperature resistance of the equipment. Therefore, BEFANBY provided the client with a customized solution for a 40-ton trackless electric transfer cart.
After understanding the client's specific needs and site conditions, the BEFANBY technical team tailored this 40-ton trackless electric transfer cart to address concerns regarding trackless driving stability, ladle securing safety, and high-temperature adaptability. It features a high-strength, thickened steel plate welded frame, equipped with multiple sets of heavy-duty solid tires, capable of stably carrying a 40-ton ladle of molten steel. Its strong terrain adaptability allows for flexible turning and on-the-spot maneuvers without requiring modifications to the workshop floor. Utilizing a high-temperature resistant battery power system with heat insulation design, a single charge allows for extended continuous operation, eliminating cable limitations and facilitating long-distance transport within the workshop.


This 40-ton trackless electric transfer cart also features an automatic positioning and docking device, enabling precise docking with steelmaking and casting stations without repeated manual calibration, significantly improving docking efficiency. Furthermore, it is equipped with a customized lifting hydraulic rod, allowing for fine-tuning of the flatbed platform height to accommodate the docking needs of different workstations.
