The Difference Between AGV And AMR
AGV is the abbreviation of Automated Guided Vehicle, which means "automatic guided transport vehicle".
AMR is the abbreviation of Automated Mobile Robot, which means "autonomous mobile robot".
Both AGVs and AMRs enable material transportation, but their similarities end there.
AGV is just a large executor, and all jobs depend on the scheduling of the central control system.
AMR itself has powerful computing power, and it can perceive the surrounding environment through sensors and make corresponding decisions.
