Project Background: In a large wind power equipment manufacturing base, the main product—a 15-ton precision gearbox—is facing a transfer dilemma. Traditional handling equipment in the factory is unable to simultaneously complete "heavy-duty lateral movement" and "high-precision docking" in confined spaces. Therefore, the client found us through the BEFANBY website, wanting to customize a trackless electric flatbed cart that can turn flexibly.
Solution: During communication with the client, we learned that the factory layout is dense, with core passageways only 4 meters wide and multiple consecutive L-shaped right-angle bends. Previously, relying on overhead cranes for hoisting was risky due to swaying and inefficient; tracked flatbed carts, on the other hand, fixed workstations and could not meet the needs of flexible production. Furthermore, there is a 300mm height difference between the old and new production lines, making it difficult for traditional handling equipment to simultaneously complete "heavy-duty lateral movement" and "high-precision docking" in confined spaces.
